Soooo I went today...picked up Kindergarten Registration forms to enroll Grace for the fall. I don't even know where time has gone, seems like yesterday was December 2, 2002 & she was just a newborn baby....Grace & I will return to Roosevelt Elementary tomorrow to offically enroll her, she will even get her picture taken for her school id...so cute.
She is PUMPED, she can't wait to go, she has been in pre-school for the past 2 1/2 years & is really ready to excel, I hope she keeps up her spunky attiude! She is reading out of books, can write her name (a task in itself trying to write SCHMIDTKE for a 5 year old) we are working on tying her shoes, she gets as she calls it FUZZED UP, and tosses the tie shoes & puts on slip-on shoes...
I am sure for her the 1st day will be a breeze, I got all teary eyed looking @ the registration papers....my baby girls, not a baby anymore!!
Class of 2021...wow that's crazy!!
